Description:
What at first seemed to be a chaotic uprising of machine against man is becoming a controlled event, destroying the lives of billions and hurling the known galaxy into a state of utter discord. The fourth fall of mankind is well underway. The Order of Eden seems to be the only force for order and peace, offering a place in their new society in trade for a large investment and their freedom. Frontline takes the Spinward Fringe series to an epic scale without leaving what makes Space Opera great behind. Frontline has the drama, grit, characterization and humor we've come to expect from Randolph Lalonde.. Captain Valance and the Triton crew are finally working as a unit. Oblivious to the grand designs of the Order of Eden, they will be drawn into the center of a galactic conflict over a planet with a secret that's been buried for decades.
The question put to them is not if they can prevail, but if they can survive.
Publisher's opinion:
Frontline takes the Spinward Fringe series to an epic scale without leaving what makes Space Opera great behind. In one book the series takes a great leap ahead and nothing will ever be the same. Frontline has the drama, grit, characterization and humour we've all come to expect from Randolph Lalonde.

Reviews:
Space opera is one of my favorite reading, and Lalonde's books are really well written and paced. Lots of action, tempered by interesting characters. There is a good balance between technology freaks, medics and killers in the books. The Valance character is evolving constantly, and I am really happy that the crazy funny pilot is back in the story. I really like it.
PS The first time I write such a review. Difficult job.
Intensely paced with believably complex characters.
So very impressed with Randolph Lalonde's unique style and storytelling ability.
I have read all of the series of books written by Randolph Lalonde. The books just keep getting better and better! This one, 'Frontline', is definitely the best of them all. The action moves quickly and the characters are sooooo interesting! I'm already looking forward to the next one.
I only wish Randolph LaLonde would keep writing and do it faster. The series just keeps getting better and better, and the latest addition to the series is even better then the ones before it.
I can't wait for the next episode!
